1. Products
a. General
1.1 All pieces are individually handmade. Colours, style and design may vary.
1.2 Products on the website may offer an impression of available items. Alexandra Breeze is always adding more products, so if the webshop does not have what you are looking for please contact us.
b. Bespoke
1.3 Bespoke items are individually made. This is reflected in the price. Pricing is dependent on the size of the work, the complexity and the quality of photographs of the property.
1.4 When enquiring about a piece the client will receive a quote and information on how to proceed. Once a quote has been agreed on we require a 50% non-refundable downpayment.
1.5 Bespoke work can take between 8-10 weeks. The production time will be discussed with the quote.
1.6 During the production the client will receive a photo of the design and of the unfired work for approval.
1.7 Once the work is finished we require full payment before collection, drop-off or shipping.
c. Shipping
1.8 Products will be sent with the utmost care in terms of packaging, which should be sufficient for posting. Please notify us straight away if there are any breakages.
1.9 Postage is calculated on the weight and destination. All items are shipped with registered post and could take between 3-4 days within the Netherlands or 5-15 days for international shipping. Alexandra Breeze Ceramics will provide track & trace information but cannot be held responsible for late arrivals.
1.10 For deliveries outside the EU please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the client’s own expense.
d. Returns and exchanges
1.11 If for any reason a client wishes to return goods, within 14 days of delivery we will be happy to arrange a replacement, exchange or refund. Items should be returned in perfect condition, please note that the client is responsible for the return shipping cost.
1.12 Bespoke items cannot be returned
e. Privacy
1.13 All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled responsibly for the personal information.
f. Payment
1.14 Online payment is possible by Visa, Mastercard & American Express, Ideal, PayPal.
1.15 If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to us, your order will not be accepted and Alexandra Breeze Ceramics will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
g. Validity
1.16 By ordering a product you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.
2. Workshops
a. General
2.1 For ‘walk-in’ workshops organised by Alexandra Breeze payment is required beforehand.
2.3 Please note that most workshops are not suitable for children under the age of 10, unless specifically indicated
2.4 Children over the age of 10 are generally welcome to the family sessions so long as they are accompanied by an adult.
2.5 Alexandra Breeze Ceramics accepts no liability for damages incurred through the misuse of equipment.
2.6 You will be provided with an apron during the workshops, but clay or glazing can stain clothing. Alexandra Breeze does not accept liabiliy for damages to clothing during the workshops.
2.7 Advertised workshops can only be held with a minimum of 6 paying participants. Alexandra Breeze reserves the right to reschedule two weeks in advance for planning reasons or if there are not enough participants. Participants will be offered the voice of a full refund.
2.7 Items produced in the workshops can be collected at the studio in Voorhout, unless otherwise agreed.
b. Workshops (bespoke)
2.8 Alexandra Breeze can organise private (family, groups or teambuilding) workshops on request for up to 12 people in her studio in Voorhout or on location for larger groups.
2.9 A group needs to have a minimum of 8 paying participants.
2.10 For organised groups cancellations of participants within 24 hours will be charged at 50%.
2.11 The workshop can still continue with less than 6 participants, but the overall price will remain at 6 x the amount per person that was agreed.
c. Cancellations
2.12 Cancellations need to be sent in by email
2.13 Cancellations up to 7 days prior to the workshop can receive a full refund, minus a €10 handling fee. Cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours will be offered a 50% refund. Within 24 hours the participant is liable to pay the full amount.
2.14 Participants who have to cancel may be offered a voucher for a future workshop that can be redeemed within a year.
2.15 Entry to the workshop is transferable. If a participant is not able to make it to the workshop they may send someone else.
2.16 Should the workshop have to be cancelled by Alexandra Breeze because of illness participants are offered the opportunity for a workshop at a later date or a full refund.
